EVS is an important subject to study at a primary level so that the principles and importance of environment and natural resources should be inculcated in the children from a young age. Teaching the subject practically will allow better and easy understanding of the subject.
A few ways to teach EVS practically in the classroom are -
1. Small-scale experiments of growing plants in small pots.
2. Experiments to demonstrate traveling of sound and light through different mediums.
3. Teaching the importance of recycling and helping them create useful things by recycling.
4. Using picture cut-outs, flashcards, AV clips, etc.
