9 days of festivities ,dance and paying obeisance to the goddess durga culminates with dussehra on Tuesday, the 8th of October 2019. For some its the time to relax and to take a holiday while for some its a holy season. My day wise planning script of dussehra holiday is as followed -

DAY 1 : The first day of navaratri is associated with the worship of shailaputri. On the first day I will try to complete all my home works so I could enjoy dussehra stress free.

DAY 2 : The second day is associated with the worship of brahmanacharini . On the second day I will go to temple to worship goddess durga and listen all the durga's legend.

DAY 3 : The third day is associated with the worship of chandraghanta. On the third day I will meet family and community members and celebrate durga puja with them.

DAY 4 : The fourth day is associated with the worship of kushmanda. On the fourth day I will visit different pandals to see the creative decorations of pandal and to see a huge statue of goddess durga.

DAY 5 : The fifth day is associated with the worship of skandamata. On the fifth day we will do main puja with recitation of scriptures and legends of durga.

DAY 6 : The sixth day is associated with the worship of katyayani. On the sixth day I will go to play dandia night party to play dandia.

DAY 7 : The seventh day is associated with the worship of kalaratri. On the seventh day I will go see ramlila event where episodes from story of Rama and ravana are enacted by team of artists.

DAY 8 : The eighth day is associated with the worship of mahagauri. On the eighth day I will go to ramanavami fair to entertain myself with a wide range of handicrafts and other such products that are being sold.

DAY 9 : The ninth day is associated with the worship of sidhidatri. On the ninth day I will attend the farewell ceremony of goddess durga where the clay statues are ceremoniously walked to a river or ocean coast for a solemn goodbye to goddess durga.

DAY 10 : The tenth day is associated with ravandahan ceremony. On the tenth day I will participate in ravandahan ceremony.
