Explanation:-

In an atom there is a nucleus and there are negatively charged electrons which revolve around the nucleus. Nucleus consists of protons and neutrons. I. that neutrons are neutrally charged. An atom is electrically neutral. Thus to balance the negative charge of the electrons protons have a positive charged.

Answer:you can't !!

Explanation: when electric charge was discovered one thing became clear that there are two types of charges which are opposite in nature . The unlike charges attract each other and like charges repel each other . When J J thompson discovered electrons there was no way to ascertain that the charge in electrons was negative . he could as easily have said that it was positive . We study electrons as negatively charged because it is the way it has been described by our scientists who discovered them . Our entire physics is based on the foundation of these assumptions . J J Thompson

would have been right even if had said that electrons were positively charged . then the protons would have carried a negative charge .
