How will you find out whether the soil is fertile or not using an acid base indicator

Yeah we must mix the soil to be tested with water and mix thoroughly. And later must filter the precipitate with water alone to be remaining .
With the water test on blue litmus or red litmus. The colours would give u the mediums of the soils.
