the limitation of rutherfords model of atom are:-
rutherford can't able to explain the stability of atom
because according to electomagnetic theory of physics an object which revolve in circular motion have charge but reutherford's electron does not have charge
if the electon have charge then it will attract to proton but in atom it does not happen
any doubts in this question please tell

Hi there
Here's your answer
Drawbacks of Rutherford’s Model:
• The orbital revolution of the electron is not expected to be stable.
• According to Rutherford’s model, the electrons, while moving in their orbits, would give up energy.
This would make them slow down, gradually and move towards the nucleus. The electrons will follow a spiral path and then fall into the nucleus. Ultimately, the atom would collapse. But in reality the atom is stable.
