How will you find the third term of a proportion whose first, second and fourth terms are respectively 24, 8, and 5?​

Answer:

24:8::?:5

So if we divide first term by 3 then we get second term.

Similarly we find third term to multiply 3 by fourth term

That is 15

Now the answer is 24:8::15:5
