How will you join the resistor of risistance 3ohm,6ohm and 8 ohm to get an equivalent resistance of 10 ohm?

To get a resistance of 10 ohm:

Connect 3 ohm and 6 ohm resistors in parallel and then, connect the 8 ohm resistor in series with the parallel combination.


Equivalent resistance of 3 ohm and 6 ohm:

= (3 x 6) ÷ (3 + 6)

= 18 ÷ 9

= 2 ohm


Now final resistance = 2 + 8 = 10 ohm
