how will you justify that ice , water and steam are not diffrent substances but diffrent states of matter.

These all are forms of water...just at different temperatures
Take a glass of water
Now put it in fridge..it will turn into ice...
and of you put the same water and provide heat for sometime...it will turn into steam

YES BECAUSE IN THE STATE OF WATER ice have more force of attraction and almost negligible molecular space....IN WATER it has medium force of attraction and molecular space......IN steam force of attraction is negligible and molecular space is maximum
