how will you prepare a dilute acid from a concentrated acid

An acid is concentrated when it has more amount of acidic content in it, while, it is dilute when it has more amount of water content in it and is less acidic.
So, if we add water to the concentrated acid more than acid content in it , it becomes dilute.
