You can make a electric circuit with bulb and holder

Take a wooden pencil, it'll have graphite inside it... make the two ends naked by a sharpener, so that in both ends graphite can be seen.
Now clip the open end of a wire to any one of the pencil.
Take the other end of the wire and stick it to a battery terminal.
Now take another wire and stick its two ends with the remaining battery terminal and with a bulb respectively.
Now touch the open end of the pencil to the bulb and observe what happens.
If the bulb glows the point is proved. If u follow the procedure cautiously, the bulb will definitely glow unless the bulb is not okay.
