We still need to do a lot in raising awareness about the need for vocationalisation. But our new Education Policy of 2020 has given importance to vocational subjects in the curriculum in primary, secondary and senior secondary years.

• Till now vocational subjects taught in curriculum did not had much importance compared to core subjects. Not much attention was paid to vocational subject or vocational training in schools.
