first use a magnet to separate the iron fillings,now mix the remaining in water and then use sedimentation method to separate the chalk powder.and at last evaporation can be used to separate salt from water

To separate iron filings you need a magnet. When you will move a bar magnet over the mixture iron filings will be separated. Now you should mix the remaining mixture with water. Salt will get dissolved completely. Now you should filter the mixture and chalk will be separated. Now you should heat the filtered solution till all water gets evaporated. You will get common salt.
