First we will seperate iin fillings from the mixture by using a magnet...Due to its magnetic property.
Then add water in the left one.
Heat it.
Ammonium chloride will go under sublimation and salt will dissolve in water.
Seperate sand by sedimentation.
Then again heat left over salt solution. Water will evaporate and salt will be left.
This is how you can seperate.

So ammonium chloride is separated from sand by the process of sublimation , when the mixture contaning ammonium chloride and sand is heated , then ammonium choride forms vapours easily , these vapours o cooling give pure ammonium chloride ,sand is left behind.
