Answer

We all know that Kerosene and Pertrol are missible liquids and so due to this we can't separate them using physical methods. So when when we go through their properties we may observe that they have difference in the temperature in which they evaporate.

So we all know that when a mixture hax components with different points at which they evaporate wee use simple distillation.

So here we use simple distillation and not fractional because their boiling points have a difference of more than 25°.

So in the process of simple distillation we heat this mixture slowly and petrol which has a much lower boiling point than kerosene starts to evaporate and we shall collect the condensed petrol from the condenser outlet. This leaves us with pure kerosene.

Here we pass water through the vapour [here petrol] so that it gets condensed back into its liquid form.
