How will you show that the
rusting of iron needs oxygen and moisture at the same time?

take three test tubes ABC In test tube A fill it with water and close it with a cork. tke three iron nail.putone iron nail in eachtube and do the following

in test tube B fill it with boiled water and remove dissolved air from it and pour a layer of oil .this prevents the air from coming in contact with the water .

in test tube C fill it with anhydrous calcium chloride and close it with the cork.calcium chloride is dry agent

after a fewdays you will observe thet the iron nail in test tube C will not rust because tge air present in it is dry and wateris not present .in teset tube B the iron nail does not rust because the layer of oil doesnot allow the atmospheric air to come in contact with the nail.in test tube A you will observe that the nail in it has undergone rusting.this is because for rusting to take place it requires the presence of oxygen and water or moisture in air
