● How can you check the presence of starch in leaf ?

○ Fiirst we take a Fresh leaf.

○ Now boil the leaf in water for few miniutes for soften the cells in the leaf.

○ Now dip the leaf in Iodine solution.

○ Now the colour of leaf is changes into blue black when Iodine is added to the leaf.

■ It will show that the presence of starch in leaf.
