how will you test the process of starch in a food​

Test for starch :.       Drop some iodine onto the food if iodine turns blue black then starch is present .

If you want to check the starch in food

• Cut a part of potato or add a small amount of food you want to check on a China dish.
• Now add iodine to it and wait until the food tuns blue black in colour. The area where there is blue black in colour it is the area of presence of starch.
