how wind cause ? short answer

in summer, in afternoon the land becomes hot faster than the sea. so the air above air will rise above and an area of low pressure will be created and the air above land will rise to take the space over land and the winds are created by this by the movement of high pressure to low pressure.

Wind is caused when air blows from high pressure region to low pressure area because sun heats the planet differently, and over vast areas. As a place warms up, the air expands, causing a

. Wind is simple high pressure air moving towards a low pressure region to balance things out. The boundaries are not normally so definite that you could notice the effect you described.
