When the pancreatic duct is blocked the juices will not be released into the duodenum

Explanation:

If there is a blockade of the pancreatic duct these enzymes will not be secreted and complete  digestion of proteins will not occur. Enzyme pancreatic amylase from the pancreas helps in the digestion  of starch, it breaks the polysaccharide down into disaccharides.
