How would non-secretion of hydrochloric acid in our stomach affect food digestion?

To digest the food HCL is required during non secretion of HCL the body will vomit the intake of food which you ate. Symptoms of Stomach pain abdominal pain can arise. Food will not break into simpler compound hence it will jam the passage of intestine.
