Total resistance = 1+3+2 = 6 ohm

V = IR

I = V/R

I = 3/6 = 0.5 A

When voltmeter is connected between C and D, then

V = IR

V = 0.5*2

V = 1 V

In a series connection voltage always gets divided

∴ The reading in voltmeter would change
