Flame test with respect to its sensitivity shows a different and unique color in the each element when it is tested in respect to sight and as a result, it increases the temperature of the environment making it hotter.

Flame test is used to identify the metal ion found in an ionic compound . If the compound is placed in the flame of burner , there may be characteristics colour given off by metal that can be seen by naked eyes.
Thus flame test has a unique colour for each element and produces high temperature.
For example :
If the salt containing sodium  and potassium is put on flame test it emits yellow light when viewed with naked eyes.
If there  traces of previous metals are available for the present flame test, some times the flame test may show invalid result.
