Parkway is very proud to present its Tree of Kindness that has grown in the main hallway.  We’d like to thank Mrs. Baer for making such a beautiful tree and now it’s the job of the boys and girls to get as many leaves on it as possible.  Here's how it works:
If you see someone doing something unusually kind for someone else, you can nominate that person for a leaf on the tree.  For example, if you drop the contents of your book-bag and a classmate stops to help you clean it up, you can nominate that person for a leaf on the tree.  All you have to do is pick up a nomination form in the main office, complete it, giving the reason for the nomination, and submit it to the main office.  The person's name will be printed on a leaf and each Friday the names of those students will be read during morning announcement.  Once the names are read, the leaves will be placed on the tree.  We'd like to see our tree have as many leaves as it possibly can, so remember to be kind and you just may have a leaf on our Tree of Kindness.

To have a leaf placed on the "Tree of Kindness" use the following guide.

1. Observe someone doing something unusually kind for someone else.
2. Obtain a nomination form from the main office. ( You cannot nominate yourself. )
3. Complete the form and submit it to the main office.
4. Leaves will be announced and placed on the tree on Fridays.
