How would you distinguish between Be(OH)2 and Ba(OH)2???​

So if we carefully compare ,then we find that % ionic character in Ba(OH)2 is more than that in Be(OH)2 resulting Ba(OH)2 is much more ionic than Be(OH)2 . More ionic a compound is ,more soluble it will be in water . So extent of solubility of Ba(OH)2 will be more

1)both have , different element .one compound contains beryllium and other contain barium.

2)as the size of barium is larger so it can be more stable in its Hydroxide form than beryllium because brilium is of small size

3) beryllium Hydroxide have large covalent character because of its small size while barium Hydroxide have significant and character because of large size of Barium
