Hey there,
I would try to maintain my cool and try to tackle with him/her calmly and patiently. I would also try to follow some of the good advice given by him or her but would surely correct him or her if he or she is wrong.
Hope it helps

Answer:

Use appropriate practises when confronting somebody in a corporate (or really any) setting, such as using I-statements, avoiding placing the blame on anyone, and enquiring about how you can help.

Explanation:

Start by discreetly discussing how the underperformer's actions or performance are affecting others and impeding the group with them. If they're attempting to understand and participate in good faith, provide assistance and resources. Hello, I'd attempt to keep my composure and approach him/her slowly and calmly. While I would undoubtedly correct him or her if they were in error, I also would try to heed some of their wise counsel.

Depending on the results of this analysis, I would either accept the criticism as true and express my gratitude to the giver for pointing out my error, or I would present a counterargument demonstrating the flaws in their criticism and ask them to retract it. After carefully examining all the data on both sides, I would make this request in private and, if that did not work, make it again during a team meeting.
