How would you proof inner most zone of the flame contain unburnt wax vapour

The luminous zone of a candle will contain very hot carbon particles. The innermost zone of a candle near the molten wax will contain unburnt wax vapour rising from it due to the heat produced from the candle flame. These wax vapours further decompose to carbon particles.
