how would you seperate a mixture of chalk and water

1️⃣Chalk is insoluble in water and forms a heterogeneous mixture when mixed with water. 

2️⃣As chalk is heavier, therefore it will settle at the bottom of the mixture when it is left undisturbed for sometime.

3️⃣Thus, water can be separated from chalk powder by sedimentation, decantation and filtration.

For example:- A mixture of chalk powder and water can be separated by this method. To separate the soluble solids from liquids we use evaporation and condensation methods. This process of conversion of water into vapour by heating it to it's boiling point is called evaporation.
