firstly follow the process of electrolysis of water than write
we observe that the amount of hydrogen gas evolved in the cathod tube/bar is double than the amount of oxygen produced in anode tube/bar because two moles of hydrogen and one mole of oxygen make up / bond up to form one water molecule. and also we write water: H20
