How would you take care of your younger brother or sister who is unwell when your mother is not home ​

This would depend on “why” your younger brother/sister is unwell to begin with. Different “conditions” require different forms of “care”.

That being said, take care of your sibling the same way your mother took care of you. Meet their basic needs such as food, shelter, protection/safety, clothing, and medical needs if any.

Supervision is the key to protection and or avoiding mistakes.

If it's medical attention or medicine they need such as prescriptions they take or an injury they have, DO NOT GUESS.
