How would you use the kinetic theory to explain why a helium filled balloon "shrinks" when it is taken from a warm room to the outside on a cold day?

When helium gas is kept in warm room they have high kinetic energy and ballon expand because the kinetic energy of gases increase with increase in temprature. But, when it taken outside on a cold day it's kinetic energy decrease and it gets shrink that's why hellium ballon get shrinked on cold day.

according kinetic theory of gasses gas strike a force on the surface

now let's us understand the question

hellium ballon when it is in warm room the atmospheric pressure become lighter and hellium gas present inside the ballon strike the ballon force grater then atmosphere so it will not shrunken but when it is taken out in cold room the pressure of atmosphere is increases as it contain moisture and pressure inside ballon remain same so the external wall of ballon put more pressure by atmosphere then inside ballon
