in the 17th century, scientist discovered only optical telescope. so they have only an optical telescope. so, have a limitation in using an optical telescope.
In order to a deep understanding of \mathfrak{neutron\: star}, \mathfrak{black\:hole}, \mathfrak{supernova} scientist need X-ray telescope. They are not sensitive to pollution. The first x-ray telescope was launched by \bf{NASA} named ‘\mathbb{EINSTEIN}’ later it was renamed as \mathbb{CHANDRA} which sent an image from distant galaxies.
