The 5th postulate of Euclid is very simple:
Two lines are said to be parallel if they are equidistant from one other and they do not have any point of intersection.
This is what it basically means!

Euclid's fifth postulate in easy way :-
If a transversal intersect two lines ( not two parallel lines) , then the two lines will meet at that direction where the sum of interior angle on the same side of transversal is less than 180°.
