the narrator said ratna to go and sing in front of ranga. ranga heard her singing and didnt want to disturb her. ranga wanted to see her face out of curiosity. he sawratna and got infatuated. he collected her details later. this was the narrators plan to let ranga have a glimpse of ratna.
