Many scientists and environmental groups believe that the most significant environmental issues today result from burning fossil fuels for energy, leading to land and water pollution, ecosystem damage and importantly, climate change...

Several human activities like burning of fossil fuels, dumping of waste in river leds to pollution..

However overpopulation is also a reason for that

Answer:

Human activities contribute to climate change by causing changes in Earth's atmosphere in the amounts of greenhouse gases which cause a big problem known as global warming.

Human also burn fossil fuel for to run vehicle, steel production, cement manufacturing etc. which release green house gases and destroy ozone layer.

Soil erosion and deforestation are connected to each other.Human cut tress for make out medicine, paper and more.from this human get their things but animals lost their homes, there are no tress means no root so soil not attached and wind make away soil with them which also cause landslide.

Pollution, In todays world is high as  you can also find chapters on pollution in your Science\EVS books. There are major 4 types of pollution:-

Water pollution, solid waste pollution, noise pollution, air pollution

Water pollution is uncleaned, unpurified water bodies of which you can not drink water.

Solid waste is harmful for the environment whether it exists in solid, liquid or gaseous form. Solid waste pollution is caused mainly through urbanisation and through industrial waste

Noise pollution is the propagation of noise with harmful impact on the activity of human or animal life.

Air pollution,If you read news you can found AQI (air quality index) which reports the pollution level. If there is level 35 so it is good but if it is 650 so it can be make you die.

If you destroy the Earth, you destroy the chance of life.
