Answer:

BLUFF, known as “The Bluff” is a coastal suburb of Durban in KwaZulu Natal and a great holiday destination for locals and tourists alike. It is also the city’s most bulging natural landmark. The name comes from the fact that the whole area lies along a long bluff on which most of the suburbs are situated. The Bluff forms part of the Port of Durban, offering some residents splendid views of tankers and ships entering and leaving the Harbour.

The area is known for its abundant sea life and is home to the famous uShaka Marine World. The two main beaches of The Bluff are Anstey’s and Brighton Beach with Garvie’s being the lesser known one, however the surf here is rough and not for beginners.

Anstey’s beach is perfect for surfing, body boarding and kitesurfing, while Brighton Beach has the world famous surf spot “Cave Rock” with swells breaking over the rock reef. Low tide reveals rock pools, ideal for children to play in.
