True. Human blood groups are the excellent examples that are determined by multiple alleles. An allele is a variant form of a given gene. 

The human blood type is determined by the presence or absence of certain identifiers antigen/antibodies on the surface of red blood cells.

The genes for most human traits exist in two alternative forms or alleles, that helps to determine human ABO blood types exist as three alleles (A, B, O).
