Structure: The human heart has four chambers: two upper chambers (the atria) and two lower ones (the ventricles), according to the National Institutes of Health. The right atrium and right ventricle together make up the "right heart," and the left atrium and left ventricle make up the "left heart." Working: The heart is a muscular organ in humans and other animals, which pumps blood through the blood vessels of the circulatory system.Blood provides the body with oxygen and nutrients, as well as assists in the removal of metabolic wastes. In humans, the heart is located between the lungs, in the middle compartment of the chest.

The deoxygenated blood from Body organs is taken to right atrium through
Venacava then to the right ventricle. From the right ventricle the deoxygenated blood is then pumped to our Lungs through the Pulmonary Artery. } [/tex]

Then the Lungs adds Oxygen to the deoxygenated blood and Carbon dioxide is taken out. Now this Oxygenated blood is carried to Left Atrium through the Pulmonary vein and then this blood is taken to Left Ventricle and from here the oxygenated blood is taken to Body organs through Aorta.
