After reading the chapter 'A letter to God' the faith in humanity is restored as it shows how a innocent man wrote a letter to God, hoping to get help. The post office employees laughed off by reading the letter but didn't wanted Lencho's strong faith in God to be shaken, so instead of not knowing him they helped him with their money
