Robots are made basically by programming them. The basic concept of the program lies between input , then actions to be performed according to input, like what output should be done.

As everything that is possible is provided from before hands, the bot shall only be able to perform tasks specified to them in prior.

So if any input goes out of scope humans need to interfere.

Bots are the computer programming which performs desired technical action automatically when it is initiated and it can perform the action without the intervention of a human.

The output from the bot is only based on the input which is already programmed.

The human help is needed only during the programming of the bot and after proper debugging, the program will be loaded into the bot's system.

After the loading program into the system, if some crisis occurs because of the inputs which go out of scope, at those times, humans should interfere and resolve the programming problem occurred due to error making input.
