Humoral immunity is due to B- Lymphocytes.

B lymphocytes produce an army of protein in response to pathogens into our blood to fight with them. These proteins are called antibodies.
Some of the antibodies produced in our body is IgA, IgM, IgG and IgE.
Because these antibodies are found in the flood, the response is also called as humoral immune response.
