x-3y =9
√2-3(3√2) =9
√2 - 27√2 =9
0.414 -27 ×0.414 = 9
- 11.037 =9
(√2,3√2) are not factors of given p(×)

here you go ☆☆

□x - 3y = 9

given solutions are :-

 \sqrt{2} ..3 \sqrt{2} ..........(1)

so \: x \: = \sqrt{2} \: and \: y = 3 \sqrt{2}

 \sqrt{2} - 3(3 \sqrt{2} ) = 9

 \sqrt{2} - 9 \sqrt{2} = 3

□squaring both sides...

 { \sqrt{2} }^{2} - {9 \sqrt{2} }^{2} = {3}^{2}

2 - 81 \times 2 = 9

2 - 162 = 9

 - 160 = 9

◇BUT LHS IS NOT EQUAL TO RHS.....

♧SO (1) is not solution of x - 3y = 9

 \boxed{hope \: it \: helps}
