Helen has harboured a dream to enter the Radcliffe college, Harvard's annex for women. The road to this destination, was as expected, rough. However, Helen wasn't alone for she had her constant guide, Ms Sullivan by her side.
Helen joined the Cambridge school for preparation for Radcliffe. However, she faced some unforeseen difficulties.
Ms Sullivan would spell out the lessons in her hand. This was indeed, very tedious but Ms Sullivan never hesitated a bit. Ms Sullivan had given her a thorough knowledge of the English language and hence, Helen did not face much trouble.
Ms Sullivan wanted Helen to finish up her preparations in three years. She would spell laboriously into her hand and made her familiar with the lessons. Owing to her unending efforts and Helen's determination, she could pass the examinations with flying colours.
Ms Sullivan would attend classes with her and was patient, whenever Helen wanted to quit. She shaped her personality and helped her achieve her dreams.
