Miss Sullivan was herself blind . So she could understand the diffulties faced by Helen very easily.
Most probably , Miss Sullivan used to teach Helen outside the house . She used to teach her in the Nature with the help of natural things like trees , grasses , birds , water and much more . She then used to give Helen cards with raised letters with Helen used to touch and learn the words . This way Miss Sullivan used to taught Helen. !!
