Hybridization is given by the following formula:

H=12(V+X−C+A)H=12(V+X−C+A)

Where:VV = number of valence electrons in central atom
XX = number of monovalent atoms around the central atom
CC = positive charge on cationAA = negative charge on anion

H=4→sp3,2→sp,3→sp2...H=4→spX3,2→sp,3→spX2...

e.g.: in NH3NHX3, the hybridization of NNatom is:

H=12(5+3−0+0)=4→sp3
