hydrogen and oxygen are two gases which are used in burning of heat but when they combines and they becomes water H2O but is not able to burn heat? why?

because the property of a compound is different from the properties of its elements.................

this is because hydrogen and oxygen have undergone chemical change...
the reaction can be expressed as-
H2(g) + O2(g) -------> H2O(l)
there is a change in the properties of the reactants of water....
