Hydrogen is an abundance around the sun but not around Earth. Explain.

- Presence of hydrogen depends on its escape from the planet/star.
- On earth r.m.s. velocity of hydrogen is greater than escape velocity, therefore hydrogen escapes the earth making it rare.
- On sun r.m.s. velocity of hydrogen is lesser than escape velocity, therefore hydrogen is bounded to the sun making it abundant.
