Hydrogen is liberated when acids react with metals. Explain this with the help of an experiment.

For the preparation of Hydrogen, granulated zinc is taken in the beaker and H2SO4 is poured in the beaker. The acid reacts with Granulated zinc forming Hydrogen.

Zn + H2SO4 -》 ZnSO4 + H2

Zinc being more reactive than Hydrogen displaces Hydrogen from its sulphate solution and forms Zinc sulphate and as a result Hydrogen is evolved.
