If a vehicle is accelerated to 5 ms⁻², how much time does it take to attain a velocity of 27 ms⁻¹ which initially starts With 2 ms⁻¹

a=5 m/s
t=?
V=27 m/s
u=2 m/s
a=v-u/t
t=v-u/a
t=27-2/5
t=25÷5
t=5 seconds

As per the question,

Acceleration, a = 5 m/s^2

Final Velocity, v = 27 m/s

Initial Velocity, u = 2 m/s

Time take = ?

The first equation of motion,

v = u + at

27 = 2 + 5 * t

27 – 2 = 5 * t

25 = 5 * t

25/5 = t

t = 5 sec
