Hydrogen is often included in the reactivity series of metals. Use the idea of reactivity to explain the observation shown in fig. 1.2.

hydrogen is included because it shows both the property of metals and nonmetals. but it is less reactive than sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium etc. it is placed at the end of the reactivity series just after copper.
