Hii There!!

Let isosceles right angled triangle be ∆ABC with angle ABC = 90°

=) AB = BC = x

(AC)2 = 50

Since (AC)2 = (AB)2+ (BC)2 = 2(x)2

50= 2(x)2

x = 5

So, length of equal sides = 5cm.

Hope it helps

AC SQUARE = AB SQUARE + BC SQUARE

As AB and BC are equal

50^2 = (x+x)^2

50 = x+x ( root and square cancelled)

2x=50
x=25

The sides are 50, 25, 25
